what a weekend
Ok so this weekend was a busy one. We started out meeting at chris's friday afternoon at 3 to drive to san angelo. Keith drove out there and it took him 14 hours(really 6 but its funnier) it took us almost 2 hours just to get out of the metroplex. Traffic sucks. Friday's show was pretty good decent crowd. People kept buying us shot after shot and usually i dont drink but i couldnt be rude...lol Chris drove home and i stayed up to keep him awake. Pulled into dallas about 7:30 a.m. Then Chris got Chick-fil-a itis, we stopped and ate some breakfast. I crashed about 9 in the morning and slept till about 3. Saturday nights show in Denton was awesome. I love,repeat, love Denton women. Got to sleep about 5:30 sunday morning and then up at 11:30. Rehearsal from 1 to a bit after 5. I just got home and now im going to chill get hella faded and then its back to work tommorow morning. Then next week will b busy as hell. Wedsnday night practice, Thursday Curtain club show, Friday Clicks in Tyler, then Saturday Clicks on Kinsley in Dallas, then practice on Sunday. But the best thing is the lady that makes me smile will be in town Thursday night to see me. She lives in Temple so im looking forward to seeing her and getting to spend some time together. anyways ive rambled enough. till next time.
Comcast Sucks
OK i have comcast broadband connection at homeand the last 2-3 weeks it's been all sorts of f&^ked up and its been really really really annoying. Today is the first tie i have had decent connection in weeks. What sucks is that DSL is not offered at my house so it's either comcast or dial-up and they know it. So from the bottom of my heart comcast sucks comcast sucks comcast sucks. Ok im done venting.
Life's downs
Sometimes life isnt fun...i had a pretty emotional weekend...alot of stuff on my mind....and then to top that off i found out yesterday that a real good friend of our family passed away....so i have to attend his funeral thursday.....so i dwelled on all of that soo much that i made myself physicaly sick....took off work tuesday sick....but there is a certain person that i have been talking to that for whatever reason as soon as i hear her voice i know it's going to be ok....that person is the only thing that i have been able to smile about for the last couple of days...u know who u are..thank you for being there....im all better now though..life goes on life brings changes someties good sometimes bad but you still have to get up and move on its the way of the world....sorry to bring everyone down but i needed to update my blog so here it is..lol hope to see some friends in denton this weekend. much love

My old buddy Dustin emailed me this little story and I thought I would share it with you. enjoy Brenda O'Malley is home making dinner, as usual, when Tim Finnegan arrives at her door. There was an accident down at the Guinness brewery..." "Oh, God no!" cries Brenda. "Please don't tell me." "I must, Brenda. Your husband Shamus is dead and gone. I'm sorry. Finally, she looked up at Tim. "How did it happen, Tim?" "It was terrible, Brenda. He fell into a vat of Guinness Stout and drowned." "Oh my dear Jesus! But you must tell me true, Tim. Did he at least go quickly?" "Well, Brenda... no. In fact, he got out three times to pee."
The almighty Falls
As the other boys said we had a fun weekend....at the waterpark after chris and i rode all the slides we decided to float the lazy river...at that time i thought it would be fun to tip him over repeatedly...now the funny part was that he kept trying to get the lifegaurds to blow the whistle at me and yell at me for horseplay (new motto"saftey is fun, saftey is number 1") well instead of yelling at me they smiled and 1 hot little female lifegaurd asked me if i needed to be in timeout...i said no but i asked for spanking instead and she didnt give them to me :( then some guy was hitting on chris asking him about his nipple ring...yes chris is pierced....oh afterthought friday night/sat morning while keith was sawing logs i found myself5:30 in the morning watching bosson buddies in the hotel...then i find out oz and chris were watching winnie the pooh...i think they were cuddling but i have no proof...anyways enough for now peace
Single or not Single
for those of you that dont know im single...very single...almost tied the knot before but things didnt work out....she wasnt able to take the music anymore.....it is soooo hard for a woman to date a working musician because the music comes first and your never home.....well for the last couple years i have been somewhat of a man whore....now ive had an epiphany that casual meanless sex is not fullfilling anymore......i really want to find something real someone to stand with me while we ride this crazy ride called life.......i dont ask for much...all i want is a strong, smart, honest, passionate, caring, loving, family orriented, supportive, non-pyscho, patient woman that can put me in my place when i need it.....is that asking too much...lol and no this is not a personal add im just tryin to give some insight into me.....anyways enough rambling i just got home from practice and now im going to chill before bed peace love and duct tape
Its not Monday anymore
Well my week hasnt been horrible but at work it has been hella slow....for those of you that dont know i deliver flowers for a local florist in plano....thats my 10-6 mon-fri day gig......its just barely enough to get by on but it allows me more time to dedicat to music......i had a good carreer and left it because i couldn't do my job and be in the band.....timing conflicts...so i left that job and now i deliver flowers to make ends meet....well i get paid hourly and this week has been soooo slow i dread seeing my check on friday.....well thats all about work ill post something juicier later tonight
monday mornings suck
I didnt get to sleep sunday night until about 3:30 am. I was dragging ass all day long at work. Usually red bull and mnt dew do the trick but not today. i think im going to goto bed a bit early tonight but will be back with a longer blog tommorow. night all much love
Funny Stuff
I was surfing the almighty superhighway when I came across a funny little blooper real. I think it's about 2-3 years old. We went into the studio to record one song for a new local music website. While we were there the producer talked us into writing and recording a theme song for the website. We agreed, and so the process began. In the process of recording the vocals there was a breakdown of communication. "The Oz"(as he perfers to be addressed now) went into the vocal booth to lay down his tracks. He was having a problem syncing up with the click track. He thought he was supposed to come in on one beat when he was supposed to come in on a different one. Trying to embrace change
For those of you that don't know me that well, I hate change. Well tonight I had a real battle of it. I have been running a very old copy of windows on my computer(98), and having lots of problems so I erased my computer and installed Windows XP. It's now 3:30 in the morning and I'm still downloading all my programs that i deleted. I wish I wasn't a broke musician so I could pay someone to do this. lol Anyways, I am looking forward to playing tommorow night in Temple. The last month we took off alot of time for vacations, weddings, and so on. Plus, last weekend we had the whole weekend off for the 4th. I wanna play. It's like a deep down drug addiction. No matter how crappy my week is going I know that Friday and Saturday I get to play with my Brothers for my friends. It doesn'tget any better that. Ok well if I had the woman of my dreams then it might be a little better. Well this download is about done time for next one. Sweetdreams ladies, Good Game fellas. I'm out.
What holds us together??
If you are reading everyones blog then you read Chris's about what holds the band together. What he forgot to add was that if it wasn't for Chris this band would be nowhere. Chris runs all of the buisness end of the band which includes ,booking(huge pain in the butt for an individual), keeping all of the financial issues of the band in check, books all of the sudio time, re-orders all merchandise and CD's, Makes sure the van is running, insured, and gassed up. Built our website. Donated his home studio for us to rehearse in. Those are just some of the duties he performs for the band. He also does countless other stuff that we will never know about. He is also the one that kick us in the ass when we need it as a collective band or as an individual(sometimes when we don't need it) Chris is by far the driving force of this band. Also Chris forgot to mention that OZ is the pretty one. Well I think I'm going to try to go back to sleep. Much Love.

My First Blog
Wow this is my first blog. I'm a little nervous. Will I become one of those blogger people? Will I grow a 3rd testicle from the blog radiation? Will my dog hate me now because I will spend all my extra time bloging? These are some of my concerns. So if you come to a show and I'm not there then you know the blog gods got to me.
