North Country
I just watched the movie "North Country" with Charlize Theron. I'll start by saying she is top on my list. This is a great movie about the struggles of a group of women, the first women, to work in a mine. The degree of harassment that these ladies had to endure is appalling. I can't imagine the strength that these women possessed to be able to continue to work in that atmosphere. Imagine going to work everyday were you were constantly being called horrible names, being physically abused, being constantly ridiculed, how long could put up with it? The worst part is everyone in the company including the president believes these actions are just fine. So you can't complain or your fired, you really need the money for your family. So how long would you put up with it? All I'm saying is this was a great movie. Those characters in the movie really inspired me. If you get a chance go rent it.
Camping Pics
Here are some pics from the trip. We had a blast. I got to spend a weekend with my girls. Life is good.
Camping Trip
Ok March 30th is my Dad's birthday. We asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said just for everyone to be teogether. Well, we decided that we would all go camping for a weekend as a family just like we used to when we were kids. So this weekend is the trip and I'm looking forward to it and will have tons of pics to post when i get home. It's going to be my Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother-in-law, me, and my two angels Claire and Emma. We are going to Cooper lake in northwestern Texas. Now this might sound corny but my family used to go camping all the time. If we could get a weekend off we were in the woods or near a river or lake camping. I understand "Some" people don't like to camp.(you know who you are) I love, let me stress the word, love to camp. It is a great way to get away for awhile. There are no tv's, computers, microwaves, beds, or ovens when you go camping. You get to detach yourself from the "Plugged In" world and go back to the way life used to be. It allows you some time to really stop smell the roses and realize that there is more to life than conrete, starbucks, traffic, fast food, work work sleep, and look how much money i have. So needless to say I'm really looking forward to getting to the camp grounds and get camp set up. So everone have a great weekend, I'll see you Monday.
T.O. Is a Cowboys....Wow....
Owens Joins Cowboys After Signing 3-Year, $25 Million Contract No more speculation. The Cowboys officially announced the signing of wide receiver Terrell Owens to a 3-year deal Saturday at Valley Ranch in what could be the most prominent free-agent signing in club history. Now I am a die hard cowboys fan. On the other hand I'm not a fan of Terrell Owens. I do think he's a great athlete, but I don't agree with his me me me philosophy. So we will see how the next year goes. Is it too early for Superbowl talk?? How Bout them Cowboys!!!!!

The Parade Rocked
The parade was a blast. Now I did get stuck driving which hindered my view for most of the parade, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it. Here are some pics of the parade. I love the one with the TV coaster we threw out. I think it might just hold out new slogan," Strong enough for a man....but made for a woman"
Omg
I have been trying not to post video's up here too much but this one is way too funny. The monkey skates better than i can.

I know your time is precious but I need a moment, Hello! How are you today? I hope all is well! I wanted to let you know I’ve taken it upon myself to the try and raise money for a cause I believe is worth the effort and dedication I bring to the table. The cause is Breast Cancer. Over the last 20 years there have been dramatic advances in the fight against this disease. As I’m sure you know, cancer is not something anyone wants to deal with but the truth of the matter is tens of thousands of women and men as well, develop cancer and more specifically breast cancer. This disease is relatively preventable with the proper education and awareness, proper checkups and proper techniques in self-examination. The Breast Cancer 3-Day organization is whom I have made a commitment, in effort to raise $2,200. If I obtain this goal, I will be allowed to participate in a 3-day walk extending 60 miles. This walk is to take place in October on the 27th thru the 29th. The event attracts thousands of people united in one cause, the extinc tion of Breast Cancer. As well, it serves to bring awareness and education to the public. Before I go any further I would like to inform you that I have sent this email in hopes I’ve caught you in a generous mood as it’s intension is to ask you to donate your hard earned money to the fight against Breast Cancer. First and foremost, you can feel you have truly used your money in a manor deemed purely selfless and thus feel you have a stake in the fight against Breast Cancer and other cancers as well. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation sponsors the Breast Cancer 3-day so you can feel secure that your donations are to be used for research, screening, and the treatment of Breast Cancer. If you would like to help me fight Breast Cancer you can find a link to my website Head Quarters by clicking the link below. What a Show
Man the CD release party was as good as i promised. Chris and "The Oz" got naked. We gave away over 300+ cd's. The place was packed and we had the time of our lives. I want to thank everyone that came out to the show. Even Rich(formally of the Kidd Kraddick Show) got on stage and sang a song with us. It means soo much to me when we play a big show in Dallas and everyone shows up to support and help us recharge ourselves. SO thank you for all that was there it was a blast and we'll see you Saturday at the Greenville St. Patty's parade.
Wow It's almost time
That is right it is almost time for the party that we have been planning for 3 months. Tonight we have a final rehearsal to put the finishing touches on the show. I don't think there has ever been as much anticipation for a show. Now don't get me wrong I get excited about every show, but this one has a lot of special meaning for us. We have one of our old bassist playing with us. It's "The Oz"'s birthday. Oh yea...And it's our CD RELEASE party. We are SO proud of this CD and all the hard work that we put into writing, recording, and producing it. So come out tomorrow and watch us tear the stage up the way we have ever done before. "Now" is the time. See you tomorrow night.
