Good Weekend

Yes I want to first say thank you for all those that either myspaced, texted, or called me to wish me a happy birthday. I felt very loved and I thank all of you. I had a great weekend. I was hanging out with a young lady for some of it but nothing serious.(great b-day present though) Got to spend some time with my girls and they are getting soo big. I also got to hang out with an idol of mine. I got to hang out with the infamous Cindy Skull. We talked music for at least an hour and I think she might even take me under her wing a bit and show me some stuff so I'm pretty stoked about it. All round it was a great weekend but I can't wait to get back on stage with the boys. When we take weekends off it's nice but I live for the weekends because that's when I get to get on stage and play music with three of the best brothers a man could ask for. Enough for now.

P.s. Chris rigged the voting on our main page. Yesterday I was winning by a large margin...chris is a cheater :)

Amazing

Tonight I had an amazing evening. It did envole a woman. I was treated to a homecooked meal at this young lady's house. We played chess, talked, talked, and talked. Now I know you might say amazing yea right..sounds boring. I had the best time this evening. The company was awesome. We chatted about everything under the sun. Except politics.(I'm extremely Liberal and she is a Bush fan) We have agreed not to talk politics. Isn't it funny how when you quit looking for something that you want sometimes it seems to just fall into your lap. I know I'm rambling but oh well. So to the young lady that treated me to and awesome evening I want to say thank you I had a great time tonight.

P.S. I didn't even watch the Mavs game tonight if that tells you something

Ok let me start by saying sorry I was slacking on bloggin last week. I was sick most of the week and worked all week with the new job so I was stretched pretty thin on energy and bottom line I was slacking. This weekend was an awesome weekend. I was still a bit under the weather but that was ok because we had an awesome show Saturday night, I got to meet and hang out with John Dylan(DJ for KZPS he has been in this market for almost 30 years)for a little bit while he was doing his show Friday night and that was a treat. Ok back to the show Saturday. When we got there I was feeling like crap still but by the time we were ready to start playing Bum's was packed and I'm not sure if it was the Jager bombs or the erengy of the crowd but I felt like a millon bucks from then on. So it was great weekend and I had good time. We are off this weekend so I'm going to enjoy some down time and hang out with some friends and family and enjoy Memorial weekend. The Mavs game 7 is tonight and I'll let you know ou want to read mine and Chris's blog tommorow because we made a little wager on the game. hint hint

What a Game!!!!!!

What a game what a game. Last nights game 4 agianst San Antonio was one of the most exciting basketball games I think I have ever witnessed. Both teams played hard and the lead changed like 15 times. It was back and forth all night. The Mavs have a great team this year and it looks like we are going to the Western Conference Finals.(we lead the best of 7 series 3-1) This could be the year the Mavs finaly win it all. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you need a tissue??

Ok Keith and I have been talking and we decided to implement a new monkeyshyne policy. No whining. From now on when you whine(Chris,oz we're talking to you) you have to give Keith and I $5. I know some of you might think this is a bit harsh but you don't fully understand how long this has been going on and right now they are both "hurt" and Keith and I are about to crazy. I can remember back when they would whine because we weren't making money or nobody showed up. They would whine and cry because our van had no AC. When allergy season starts omg these two will drive you nuts with the sniffling and whining. I digress, I can't really blame them totally. You have to take in a couple considerations as to how they got this way. First off you have to take in consideration they are both singers. Singers have a reputation of whining when they are put in the least bit of discomfort. The main reason I think is they both share an addiction. They are obsessed with midget porn. Recent studies do show that 80% of males age 18-35 that obsess over midget porn tend to be the "whiny woe is me" type of personality. This can be corrected with the proper dose of Alcohol(Chris) or M&M's(Oz). So I can't totally blame them but Keith and I are putting our collective feet down. So gentlemen just be forewarned you can whine if you want, but it'll cost you $5.

I'm a Loser Baby..........

Yes I lost my ass on poker night. I was actually the chip leader for the first 4 hours and then my luck went to shit. At first I tried to blame it on my intoxication level(which was on the rise) then I realized I wasn't wearing my lucky cowboy hat. By the time I realized it and got the hat it was too late. I went all in on a straight to the queen but my opponent had a full house queens over 10's and I started to cry. Although I did lose my money AGIAN I did have a great time. It's like when I goto Vegas. I expect to lose all the money that I take with me so I end up having a killer time. I do wish that I could come home with money at least once. I will say that hangin out with friends drinking and smoking and cussing and being guys is worth the small loss of green bills I seem to donate to the table. Next poker night will be Memorial weekend which is also my birthday weekend so maybe the birthday gods will shyne(wrong spelling intentional) on me and I'll win. We'll see. Good times.

Weekend Off

Alright so this weekend the band is taking off and spending some time away form the music for the weekend. We do this every once in awhile to refill our tanks, spend some time with family and friends and just take a break. Now usually when we get to break time we are burned out, tired, and beating down. This time however it's not the case. We are on a great show streak, we are getting along and working together better than we ever have before. The new music we are writing in incredibule. Things are going very well for the shyne right now. So what is everyone doing this weekend? Well as for me i know that Friday I will hang out with some friends maybe go downtown and hang out. Then Saturday is POKER NIGHT!!!. I have a group of poker playing buddies and we get together at least once a month and play Texas Hold'em for about 10 hours. It's a great time for smoking, drinking , and talking shit. I am looking forward to poker night.

It's Official

Ok so it is official, I'm an employee of Clear Channel Radio. I will be working promotions for KZPS 92.5 the Classic Rock Station. So if you guys are out and about and see one of the KZPS vans come by I might just be there. I want to thank all the emails from you guys wishing me the best of luck and it obviously helped. Also I want to thank Chris who gave me a little push that I needed to apply for the job. I'm pretty stoked about this, we'll see what the future holds. Thanks again.
